Shannon Cooper spent much of her adult life obsessing over her health.

She read extensively about diets, exercise, how our bodies respond to a variety of foods and stimuli. She felt she was more knowledgeable than the average person about what constitutes a healthy lifestyle.. Cooper believed in the old adage “you are what you eat”, and strongly believed that certain foods can provide your body with the healthy fuel, whilst others can be harmful.

For much of her adult life, she believed in this mantra and tried to incorporate it into every aspect of her life. It was a natural progression that her lifestyle choices would affect how she would raise her children.
